So what would be the Best Graphics Card 2018? As I am a Huge fan of Nvidia as a Company and also Nvidia Graphics Cards (Graphics Processing Units) I will be giving a short Graphics Card Reviews for the main cards I consider as Best Graphics Cards for Gaming.
The Nvidia GTX 10 Series Selection I am concentrating on:
- 1070
- 1080
- 1080 TI
Graphics Card Short Reviews – Best Graphics Card 2018
Nvidia GTX 1070 – Contestant 1 for Best Graphics Card 2018
GTX 1070 is a Graphics Card (Graphics Processing Unit) that is Perfect for 1080p-1440p Gameplay. It will also manage VR and it is rather good at it. GTX 1070 Has 8GB of GDDR5 Memory and is all in all a very good Graphics Card (Graphics Processing Unit). Crypto Mining madness left aside GTX 1070 has a reasonably good Price to performance relation. It should give you around 2-3 years of worry free gaming.
Nvidia GTX 1080 – Contestant 2 for Best Graphics Card 2018
GTX 1080 is a Graphics Card (Graphics Processing Unit) that is Perfect for VR and it is also the cheapest option for 4K gaming. That said, GTX 1080 will manage 4K, but if you want to max out the Graphics, GTX 1080 TI is a must have. GTX 1080 is slightly less powerful than GTX 1080 TI, but price wise it is cheaper. If you ideally just use 1080p Monitor, GTX 1070 should be enough, however to also have a small power backup, it is a good solution.
Nvidia GTX 1080 TI – Contestant 3 for Best Graphics Card 2018
GTX 1080 TI is a Graphics Card (Graphics Processing Unit) that is Perfect for 4K gaming. 1080 TI is the ultimate GPU for Gaming. The Maximum 4K performance was delivered in tests at 60 fps and over. GTX 1080 TI is ready for almost everything. It should be able to manage even 5K Gaming. Also it is a Perfect Graphics Card if you are playing on multiple monitors.

Final Decision – Best Graphics Card 2018
As you can see from the above Graphics Card Benchmarks comparison, GTX 1080 is a little bit more powerful than GTX 1070 and a little bit less powerful than GTX 1080 TI. The Final decision however is up to you. Although Crypto mining has driven all the Graphics Card (Graphics Processing Unit) prices out through the roof, if you need to get one, you need to get one. I do not see any drop in prices in near future, unless perhaps when new series of GPU’s is released.
If you are a casual gamer I would recommend GTX 1070 or if you can afford it 1070 TI. If you would like to Future Proof your setup, go for GTX 1080. It is just a little better in some areas compared to 1070 TI. If money is not a problem to you GTX 1080 TI is the one you must get 🙂
