I already spoke about the Minimum Hardware Requirements for Twitch Live Streaming however as the name itself says, they are minimum requirements and recommended requirements are something different.

What equipment do i need to stream on Twitch exactly? If there is a chance that you want to have a high quality Twitch Live Stream and furthermore you would also like to Record that Live Game Stream at the same time – i5 CPU will be on the edge. This means i5 CPU will barely manage all the above. From my personal experience my i5 4k series CPU barely made it. My New Computer Setup is now rocking Intel i7 7800X CPU and GTX1080 that at Initial testing gave some really awesome results. 1080p Twitch Live Stream and 1080p 60FPS Recording while Streaming the Game Live, took only some 20% of the CPU whereas my i5 was often in the dangerously high use.
Therefor I can put my seal of approval to:
i7 CPU (X series for the extra cores and hyper threading)
GTX1080 ( I suspect that GTX1070 would be totally fine as well, however better Safe than Sorry 🙂

You have to buy the games that you Live Stream on Twitch.
Your friend can lend it to you.
You can use different subscription services or anything similar.
All in all you CANNOT use pirated copy of a game.
